• Application-specific information relating to the App; like application version number, activity on the App and Subscription status
• User preferences such as prayer time settings, dhikr progress, Quran last-read page

Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App and/or Service displays advertising provided by various third-party advertising platforms. Muslim Assistant has limited control over the advertising displayed. Offensive and sensitive ad categories like Gambling, Betting and Sexuality are banned.

Mobile App Technologies

In our mobile application, we use similar technologies to cookies, including:

• Device Identifiers: Unique identifiers like IDFA (iOS) or Advertising ID (Android) to recognize your device. NSUserTrackingUsageDescription is used only if the user provides consent, to deliver personalized ads; otherwise ads are non-personalized.
• Local Storage: To store your preferences, prayer times, dhikr progress, Quran last-read page, and app settings locally on your device.
• SDKs: Software development kits from third parties that may collect data for analytics and advertising as listed above.

Managing Your Preferences

You can control how we use cookies and similar technologies:

• iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking to control app tracking permissions
• Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads to manage your advertising ID
• Browser: Use your browser settings to view, delete, or block cookies
• In-App: Some preferences can be managed within the Muslim Assistant app settings

Data Retention

Retention of collected data is subject to the Third Party companies' limits listed above. Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AD_ID) are used only if permitted by the user and are not stored by Muslim Assistant servers for religious profiling or ad targeting based on worship behavior.
