Smaller, faster downloads
The large files the app downloads over the internet — adhan audio, Quran recitations and translation packs — were replaced with optimised versions. They are considerably smaller now, so they arrive faster and take less room on your device.
Bug fixes
Prayer time notifications no longer arrive twice after a time-zone change. The Qibla compass settles faster indoors. Dhikr counts are kept when the app is closed while a count is in progress, and the Quran reader returns to the exact verse you left rather than the top of the page.
Under the hood
Start-up is shorter, prayer-time calculation moved off the main thread, and the app is smaller to download than 6.3 was.
