Personalization

Appearance, language, readability, and your account, all managed from the Profile screen.

9.1Theme and appearance

Light, dark, or a look that follows your phone's setting.

PathProfileAppearance

Three options

OptionWhat happens
AutomaticFollows your phone; when your phone switches to dark mode, the app does too
LightAlways light, regardless of your phone
DarkAlways dark, regardless of your phone

The selection screen shows a small preview of each option. Your choice is remembered.

What it affects

The theme covers the whole app: cards, the bottom bar, maps, and info strips. The paper color of the Quran reading page is separate (see 3.2).

9.2Language and text direction

17 languages. In Arabic and Persian, the layout switches to right-to-left.

Changing the language

When you pick a language from the list, the app switches immediately; no restart needed. At the same time:

  • The Quran translation switches to that language, starting a download if needed (see 3.3).
  • Ask AI Chat answers in that language.
  • Daily duas and hadiths arrive in that language.
  • The Islamic Guide and prayer dua explanations are translated; the Arabic text of the duas stays the same.

Right-to-left layout

In Arabic and Persian the entire app switches to right-to-left: the bottom bar, back buttons, lists, and swipe direction. It's not just text alignment — the whole layout changes.

Local numerals

In Arabic and Persian, numbers appear in that language's numerals, including the time remaining, prayer times, and the dhikr counter. For example, ٣ instead of 3.

9.3Readability

The app adapts to your phone's text size setting.

Text size

When you increase your phone's text size, the text in the app grows too. Cards and buttons grow with it, so nothing gets cut off.

Different screen sizes

The app fits every screen, from small phones to tablets. On larger screens, cards widen and bottom sheets open with more room.

Easy on the eyes

The light and dark themes are each designed in their own right. The four paper colors on the Quran reading page reduce eye strain during long reading sessions.

Haptic feedback

You'll feel a gentle vibration when moving between sections, counting dhikr, and finding the Qibla. The dhikr vibration can be turned off in settings.

9.4Account and profile

An account isn't required. With one, your data stays with you when you change devices.

PathAllProfile

Using the app without an account

Almost every section works without an account. Only Ask AI Chat limits your daily question credits.

Signing in

Three options: your Google, Apple, or Facebook account. Once signed in, you won't need to sign in again.

Your profile details

  • Name. Change your display name.
  • Profile photo. Pick one from your gallery.
  • Email. Update the address linked to your account.

Resetting your app data

You can reset your app data from your profile. Resetting clears your settings, reading progress, bookmarks, and dhikr counters. You'll be asked to confirm, because it can't be undone.

Deleting your account is not the same as resetting your data

Resetting your data clears the information on your phone; your account remains. Deleting your account removes it permanently and it can't be recovered. If you have a subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it — cancel through your phone's store settings.
